Overview

Based on Stephen King's novel, this film follows Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks), a death row corrections officer during the Great Depression. He meets John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), a giant African American inmate convicted of murdering two young girls. However, Coffey displays miraculous healing abilities and a gentle nature, leading Edgecomb to question his guilt. As the story unfolds, themes of racism, redemption, and the supernatural intertwine, painting a poignant and heart-wrenching picture of life on the "Green Mile."
