THE GREEN MILE

Based on Stephen King's novel, this film follows Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks), a death row corrections officer during the Great Depression. He meets John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), a giant African American inmate convicted of murdering two young girls. However, Coffey displays miraculous healing abilities and a gentle nature, leading Edgecomb to question his guilt.
